Quenching Oil

Quenching oils are developed for the conventional and accelerated heat treatment of carbon alloy steels. Manufactured from low viscosity solvent refined mineral oil, quenching oils have excellent resistance to oxidation and good water shedding properties.

Why Do You Need Quenching Oil?

Quenching oils are recommended for applications where a wide variety of steels are to be heat treated and a degree of rationalisation is required.

High performance quenching oils provide accurate degrees of hardness with minimum deformation whilst ensuring that components are free from surface staining. These grades of quenching oil endure the most severe operating conditions and offer excellent oxidation resistance, maintaining a stable performance throughout their long service life.
